Vat Red 31, also known as Vat F3B, is a widely used vat dye for cotton textile dyeing, fabric printing and industrial pigment applications. It provides a bright bluish-red shade with stable performance in standard vat dyeing processes.

Vat Red 31 is an anthraquinone-based vat dye mainly applied on cotton and cellulosic fibers.

After reduction, the dye penetrates the fiber and is oxidized to form an insoluble pigment,

resulting in excellent color retention and durability.

It is Blue light red powder. Alkaline reduction leuco for caramel, acid reduction leuco for yellow brown.

Applications of Vat Red 31

Mainly used for dye spell with red light grey or brown, can be used for cotton direct printing. Also can be used in the manufacture of Vat Blue ER, instead of ice dye dyeing flag when a little dark red color.

Because of its chemical stability, Vat Red 31 is also used as a pigment component in plastics, coatings and printing inks.
