Vat Orange 15 appearance is generally yellow-brown powder. It is insoluble in water and alcohol; slightly soluble in nitrobenzene, tetrahydronaphthalene and xylene. It is greenish yellow in concentrated sulfuric acid and orange after dilution. The dye is in alkaline powder.
The leuco body formed in the solution is brown, and the acid powder solution is dark yellow.
Usage
- Vat Orange 15 When used for cotton dyeing or dip dyeing, it is most suitable to use the B method, or the C method, which should be reduced by a small bath ratio. The drying time of the dry cylinder is 10~15min, the temperature is 40~50°C, dry. The cylinder stabilization time is 30 min.
- The leuco body has higher affinity for cotton fiber, good leveling property, and good hiding power for dead cotton. In addition to dyeing and dip dyeing, it is also suitable for suspension padding.
- It is suitable for direct printing. The color of the printing is darker and darker than dyed red. Prolonging the steaming time is beneficial to increase the color yield. It is not suitable to use dichromate oxidation, otherwise the color is dark. The whitening performance is not good. Only available in light colors.
- It can be used for dyeing viscose fiber. It has high affinity at low temperature and red and dark at high temperature. If the cotton-cotton blended fabric is cold-dyed, uniform color can be obtained.
- Vat orange 15 Printing and dyeing fabrics are finished by resin, and the color shade is unchanged.

Precautions
- When Vat orange 15 dyeing, the amount of caustic soda should not be too much, otherwise the color light is brown, and it is not suitable for long-term treatment under high temperature alkaline conditions.
- Vat orange 15 should be stored in a dry, ventilated place to avoid moisture.
