Vat Orange 1 is a yellow-brown powder. It is insoluble in water; slightly soluble in acetone, alcohol, benzene, chloroform, o-chlorophenol, pyridine and toluene; soluble in nitrobenzene, tetralin and xylene. The bright blue-violet color is orange after dilution.
The leuco body formed by the dye in the alkaline powder solution is sauce red, and the acid insurance powder solution is orange.
Application and Usage
- Vat orange 1 For the dyeing or dip dyeing of cotton products, it is most suitable to use the method of C, but it can also be used. When dyeing with C, it can be dyed without salt. It is better to use a small bath to reduce than the dry cylinder. 10~15min, the reduction temperature is 50°C, and the dry cylinder stabilization time is 50min.
- Vat orange 1 leuco body has good affinity to cotton fiber, and the leveling property is good. The hiding property of dead cotton is good. It is also suitable for dyeing and dip dyeing. Suspension padding, etc., is often used to adjust the color when ashing, khaki and other colors.
- It is more suitable for direct printing of cotton cloth. Usually, the printing paste is prepared with potassium carbonate and soda ash. The printed fabric is oxidized by dichromate, and the color light is not changed. Its color light is slightly lower than that of Vat golden GK. Reddish, in the absence of golden RK, you can use the reduced golden GK plus restore orange RF substitute.
It is suitable for dyeing fibers such as viscose.
It is printing and dyeing fabric is finished by resin, and the color shade is unchanged.

Precautions
- There are two active bromine atoms in the Chemical structure . When dyeing, attention should be paid to the amount of alkali to prevent the bromine atoms from escaping and affecting the normal color light.
- Vat orange 1 has serious light brittleness and is generally not used for primary colors.
- Vat orange 1 should be stored in a dry, ventilated place to avoid moisture.
