UV absorber UV-9 is a Class I sunscreen approved by the FDA. It can absorb ultraviolet light ranging from 270 to 340 nm, with absorption peaks of 285 nm and 325 nm. It features good compatibility, low volatility, excellent dispersion, low migration, good thermal stability and high absorption efficiency.
It is suitable for polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, polystyrene, polymethyl methacrylate, ABS resin, acrylic resin, unsaturated resin, cellulose resin, synthetic rubber, coatings and inks. It is particularly suitable for colorless and light-colored products. The general dosage is 0.1-0.5%.
