Advantage:
- UV absorber UV-1164 is a hydroxyphenyl triazine type ultraviolet absorber, capable of absorbing ultraviolet rays ranging from 280 to 380nm, with absorption peaks at 293nm and 342nm.
- It has the characteristics of good compatibility, low volatility, good durability, low migration, good thermal stability, and high absorption efficiency. It also has the characteristics of long-lasting absorption efficacy and not forming complexes with metal ions.
- It is suitable for polyesters, polyamides, polyetheramines, polyoxymethylenes, acrylate resins, and ABS resins, especially for transparent and semi-transparent engineering plastics such as PA, PP, PE, PET, and PMMA films, sheets, and plates. Recommended dosage: polyethylene 0.2-0.4%; polycarbonate 0.15-0.3%; ABS resin 0.1-0.5%.
Applications:
Used in POM, PA, PC, PE, PET, ABS resin and PMMA, etc. And it is especially suitable for nylon and engineering plastics.
