Transparent Iron Oxide Red is Transparent red pigment — optimized for coatings, inks, plastics & cosmetics
Transparent Iron Oxide Red is a high-performance, transparent inorganic pigment engineered for superior tinting strength and excellent weathering. It disperses easily in both solvent and waterborne systems and is suitable for automotive & industrial coatings, printing inks, plastics color masterbatches, and cosmetic applications (subject to regulatory review).
Transparent iron oxide pigment red can be used in automotive coatings, wood coatings, architectural coatings, industrial coatings, powder coatings, art paint, plastics, nylon, rubber, printing ink, cosmetics, tobacco packaging and other packaging coatings.
Enables glazing & transparent shades without opacity loss.
Efficient color development at low loadings.
Resists UV fading in exterior systems.
Designed for rapid wetting and low flocculation.

For solvent-borne systems use high-shear dissolvers or bead mills for 10–30 minutes depending on viscosity. For waterborne systems pre-wet with a suitable dispersant and use bead milling at recommended agitation and temperature limits.
Yes — it offers excellent lightfastness and weathering when incorporated into properly formulated exterior coatings. Final performance depends on binder system and total pigment load.
Cosmetic use may be possible but requires regulatory review and specific certification. Contact our technical team for cosmetic-grade batches and safety data.
