Solvent Orange 7 is a high-performance solvent dye engineered for vibrant orange coloration in solvent-based inks, coatings, plastics and specialty industrial applications. It delivers excellent tinctorial strength, rapid solubility in common organic solvents, and stable color reproduction across batches. Solvent Orange 7 is optimized for formulations where vivid hue, solvent compatibility, and processing stability are required.

Stable color under typical thermal processing and short-term light exposure (formulation-dependent).
We offer sample packs, lab support for shade matching, formulation troubleshooting, and custom liquid concentrates/masterbatches. For migration-sensitive applications or regulatory queries (REACH/food contact), request application-specific testing and certificates.
mainly used in coloring all kinds of plastics, such as PS,HIPS,ABS,PMMA,AS,PET,RPVC,SAN,PC, PA6,etc. Also used in candles, inks, particularly to the staining of petroleum products, as well as to brightening agents.

Solvent Orange 7 shows rapid dissolution in polar aprotic solvents such as methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), acetone, ethyl acetate and many aromatic hydrocarbons. In blends of solvents, solubility is generally improved; however, solvent polarity and resin interactions will determine final clarity and migration behavior. Pre-dissolving the dye into a concentrated solvent carrier (making a liquid color concentrate) often improves dispersion and color consistency in production.
Available in 25 kg, 50 kg and bulk packaging (jumbo bags / IBC depending on supply). Custom packing and private-label options can be arranged for large-volume customers. Lead times depend on order size and current inventory.
Dosage depends on desired shade and carrier; typical starting ranges are 0.01–0.5% w/w in many solvent systems. Always start pilot trials and adjust.
In most solvent-based resin systems it is compatible, but reactive or UV-cure systems can show interactions — pre-test at production conditions.
Standard: 25 kg or 50 kg drums. Larger/bulk packaging and customer-specified packing available. MOQ varies by region — contact sales for quotes.
