• ‍Excellent stability: Due to its chemical structure of azo chromium complex, the coordination bond between azo dye molecules and chromium ions enhances its overall stability. Its heat resistance can reach at least 200°C, and it can maintain stable performance even when heated at 200°C for 10 minutes; the light fastness grade is 5-8, and most products are concentrated in 6-7 grade, which has good anti-fading ability under light conditions. At the same time, it has good acid and alkali resistance (grade 5) and water resistance (grade 5), and is not easy to decompose or discolor under general chemical environment.
• Outstanding solubility and compatibility: As a solvent dye, it has excellent solubility in most organic solvents, especially in ketones. For example, its solubility in butanone can reach 400-500 g/L, in cyclohexanone and methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) can also reach 400-500 g/L; in alcohols, the solubility in ethanol is 130-300 g/L, and in isopropanol is 60-180 g/L; it also has good solubility in mixed solvents (200 g/L) and propylene glycol methyl ether (150-200 g/L). In addition, it has good compatibility with most resins, which lays a foundation for its wide application in various coating and ink systems.
• Strong coloring performance: It has high color strength and tinting power, the color strength is usually controlled at 100±3%, and the tinting strength is 100-105%, which can achieve rich and uniform coloring effect with a small amount of addition. At the same time, the dyed products have high gloss and transparency, especially suitable for transparent coating systems.
• Low impurity content: The quality control of qualified products is strict. The moisture content is generally ≤2.0% (some high-quality products can be ≤0.5%), the insoluble matter content ≤1.0%, the water-soluble matter ≤1.0% (high-quality products ≤0.5%), and the total heavy metal content is controlled below 50 ppm, which meets the requirements of industrial safety and environmental protection to a certain extent.‍
