R218 rutile-type titanium dioxide is a general-purpose titanium dioxide pigment produced by the sulfuric acid method.It adopts advanced particle size control technology and foreign coating technology. The surface is coated with inorganic silicon and aluminum, and undergoes special organic treatment. It has excellent optical properties and outstanding pigment performance. It has good whiteness, high gloss, high covering power, strong color-fixing ability, high weather resistance and anti-frosting ability, low oil absorption, good wetting property, and is easy to disperse in various systems.
R218 offers an optimized balance between tinting strength, gloss retention and dispersibility. It is engineered to minimize early color shift in exterior systems while providing consistent opacity across production lots.
R218 is a general-purpose, multi-purpose, rutile-type titanium white pigment. It is widely used in various medium and high-end indoor and outdoor coatings, interior and exterior latex paints, industrial coatings, powder coatings, road marking paints, anti-corrosion paints, anti-fouling paints, ship-specific paints, as well as in fields such as plastics, color mother liquors, rubber, inks, leather, papermaking, decorative paper and laminated paper.
This product is safe and comes in a white powder form. During transportation, it should be protected from moisture. When storing, it should be placed in a cool, ventilated and dry place.
