Oxidized polyethylene wax is an excellent new type of polar wax, which significantly improves compatibility with fillers, pigments, and polar resins. Its lubricity and dispersibility are superior to polyethylene wax, and it also possesses coupling properties, making it an upgraded replacement for PE wax.
EVA wax features special properties such as low viscosity, high softening point, and good hardness. It has good thermal stability, low high-temperature volatility, and excellent dispersibility for fillers and pigments. It provides both outstanding external lubrication and strong internal lubrication, along with coupling effects.
Adding oxidized polyethylene wax to rigid transparent and opaque PVC formulations offers better lubricity compared to other lubricants.
Advantages:
Wide application and versatile use
Widely used in PE and PVC cable materials, PVC profiles, and PVC pipes as an excellent new type of plastic lubricant. It can also be used as a raw or auxiliary material in the production of textile softeners, car waxes, and leather softeners.

How much OPE wax should I add to my formulation?
Typical loading depends on application: coatings/inks often 0.2–2.0% wt; hot-melt adhesives and some plastics 1–10% wt. Start with lab trials and optimize for gloss, slip and abrasion properties. (Exact dosage varies by formulation and grade.)
Is oxidized PE wax suitable for food-contact or cosmetic applications?
Some specially manufactured low-impurity OPE grades can be formulated for food-contact or cosmetic uses, but specific regulatory approval, migration testing and documentation are required. Always request the appropriate compliance certificates for the specific grade.
