Light Stabilizer UV 5151 also known as Tinuvin 5151,Sunsorb-5151.
Light Stabilizer UV 5151 is a synergistic mixture of liquid hydroxyphenylbenzotriazole UV absorbers and blocked amine light stabilizers, featuring good compatibility, low volatility, good dispersion, low migration, good thermal stability, and excellent photostability. The unique hydroxyl group can undergo cross-linking reactions with melamine and isocyanates to reduce migration. It is easy to emulsify water-based systems, and the dispersion in water-based systems can be obtained by dissolving in water-based solvents such as diethylene glycol diether.
It is suitable for solvent-based coatings, water-based coatings, solvent-based inks, water-based inks, solvent-based adhesives, water-based adhesives, polyester resins, polyurethane resins, phenolic resins, alkyd resins, acrylic resins, and vinyl resins. The general dosage is 1-3%.
Used in Clear varnish, colored varnish, water-based system and solvent-based system.
