Light Stabilizer UV 2908 also know as SONGSORB 2908,CYASORB UV-2908.
Light Stabilizer UV 2908 is a benzene acid ester photostabilizer that possesses dual functions of photostabilizer and antioxidant. It can absorb ultraviolet rays ranging from 280 to 380 nanometers. It has good compatibility, low volatility, good dispersion, low migration, good acid and alkali resistance, high photostability, inhibition of color fading, and improvement of dyeing fastness. It decomposes hydrogen peroxides through the free radical trapping mechanism and terminates the hydrogen peroxide oxidation chain reaction.
It is suitable for PP, TPO, PE, soft PVC, ABS resins, epoxy resins, unsaturated resins, coatings, inks. When used in combination with high molecular weight photostabilizers and ultraviolet absorbers, the synergistic effect is significant.
Used in colored opaque substance like pipes, tanks, plates and plastic garden articles.
