Light Stabilizer UV 144 also known as HALS 144, UV Absorber 144, Tinuvin 144
Light Stabilizer UV144 is a light stabilizer of the hindered amine class (HALS)and also contains an antioxidant moiety of the sterically hindered phenol type. Its efficiency provides significantly extended life time to coatings by minimizing paint defects such as cracking and loss of gloss.
It provides outstanding performance significantly retarding light and thermal degradation. It has a phenolic antioxidant moiety also allows the user to reduce or eliminate other phenolic antioxidants in the polymer system.
Used in polyurethanes, styrenic block homo- and co-polymers, polyamide sealants, adhesives, rubber compounds, thermoplastic elastomers, unsaturated polyesters, acrylics and other organic substrates.
