Iron Oxide Brown 663

A high tinting strength and hiding power. The light resistance, good alkali resistance. No oil permeability and water permeability. Different shade with craft, yellow brown, red brown, dark brown, etc.

Why choose Iron Oxide Brown 663

  • Factory-controlled production for consistent shade repeatability.
  • Optimized particle distribution for quick dispersion and minimal dusting.
  • Excellent resistance to alkalis and UV for exterior applications.
  • Custom milling and surface treatment available to meet specific binder systems.

Applications

Iron Oxide Brown 663 is a common iron oxide pigment used in developing building materials, paints, rubber, asphalt, sports racetracks, paper, plastic and others.

Typical usage tips

For best results in solvent-borne systems, pre-disperse with a high shear disperser. In cementitious mixes, pre-wet pigment or introduce slowly to avoid clumping. For plastics, compatibilize with masterbatch when required.

How quickly can you provide a matched shade or custom batch of Iron Oxide Brown 663?

We operate an in-house color lab and can produce small matched batches within days. For production runs we supply a pre-production sample and a batch color certificate to ensure on-site consistency.

What distinguishes your Iron Oxide Brown 663 from imported resellers?

Unlike resellers, we control synthesis and milling, which reduces variability. Our QA process checks particle size distribution and dispersion properties on every lot — that means less rework for you and fewer shade surprises between batches.

Can this pigment be used in both concrete and high-gloss coatings?

Yes. The pigment’s inorganic nature gives it strong weather and chemical resistance suitable for exterior concrete and outdoor coatings. For high-gloss systems, we recommend pre-dispersing and conducting small lab trials to confirm surface gloss and clarity.

Do you issue environmental or safety documentation?

We provide SDS, RoHS compliance statements and can issue bespoke environmental documentation for large orders. If you require REACH or other local compliance documents, let us know and we will coordinate supply chain paperwork.

What sample and MOQ policy do you offer?

We provide small trial samples (at cost) and flexible MOQs for new customers. For ongoing partnerships we offer tiered pricing, dedicated production windows and priority shipping options.
