Fluorescent Brightener 4BK is an optical brightening agent designed to enhance whiteness and visual brightness across textile fibers, detergent formulations, paper & board, and certain plastics and coatings. It provides strong fluorescence under UV/near-UV light and good compatibility with common processing systems.

Optical brightener 4BK has a high whitening and brightening effect. Shade can be shifted to red, blue, or violet according to clients’ request. Stable chemical properties. Excellent fastness to acid perborate and peroxide. Easy to soluble in water. And good affinity with most chemical agents in dyeing and finishing and can be used in exhaust dyeing and one-bath dyeing.
Exhaust Dyeing method
Rate of use: 0.1-0.8% (o.w.f), bath ratio: 1:10-30dyeing
Process: 90-100℃x30-40min→wash→bake
One bath method
Rate of use: 0.2-0.8 (o.w.f), hydrogen peroxide: 5-15g/L,
Bleaching assistant: 0.5-2g/L, NaOH: 1-5g/L
Scouring agent: 0.5-1g/L, bath ratio: 1:10-30,
Process: 90-100℃x30-40min→wash→bake
Avoid inversion, sunlight, moisture, and crash. Avoid damaging the package.
Non Hazardous. Stock as ordinary chemicals. Wear Protective goggles and gloves while using. And avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Soap clean if the skin is contaminated.
