Properties:
- Optical brightener ER is a kind of non-ionic fluorescent whitening agent, which is neutral in aqueous solution and has better chemical stability and compatibility among ER series fluorescent whitening agents.
- It can be mixed with a variety of chemicals (including anionic and cationic chemicals) without easy precipitation or interaction.
- It has a gentler whitening effect and is suitable for more delicate applications.
Applications:
- Optical Brightener ER CI 199 is suitable for whitening and brightening polyester-cotton, polyester-silk, polyester-hemp and other blended fabrics, and has a good whitening effect on polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) polyvinyl chloride (PVC) engineering plastics ABS and other plastic products.
- Adding ER fluorescent whitening agent in the molding process of polyester chips can significantly improve the product grade.
- It is also widely used in the coating industry.

Directions for use and dosage:
- Put Fluorescent Whitening Agent ER in the form of refined powder,the polyester chips and other auxiliaries together into the mixer.
- The dosage of 0.02-0.08% on weight of polyester is recommended and should be determined according to the requirement for the whiteness of the finished products.
- Mix the mixture thoroughly at 50-150°C and then keep it at 240-300°C for drawing-spinning.
