Application:

Direct Yellow 86 Most suitable for dyeing of viscose like cotton, flax, viscose rayon, acetate and jute, also for Ink, Leather and Paper coloration.

Use condition:

  • ‍Direct Yellow 86 For the dyeing of cotton and viscose fibers in a one-bath one-step dyeing process for polyester-cotton, polyester-bonded or cotton-nitrile blended fabrics, it can be dyed in the same bath as the disperse dyes, or as a direct dye.
  • It can be used as a substitute dye for CI Direct Yellow 24 and CI Direct Yellow 48.
  • It has high directness to cellulose fiber and high dyeing rate, that is, it uses a small amount of inorganic salt and has a high dye uptake rate.
  • There is no aggregation in the dye bath at 130 ° C. The pH value of the dye bath is wide, and the cellulose dye has a good dye uptake rate under acidic conditions.‍

FAQ

How does Direct Yellow 86 perform in terms of colorfastness?

This dye exhibits excellent washing, light, and rubbing fastness. It maintains its brightness and intensity even after multiple industrial washes, making it suitable for both apparel and home textiles.

Can Direct Yellow 86 be mixed with other dyes?

Yes, it can be combined with other direct or reactive dyes to achieve custom shades. However, proper testing is recommended to avoid unexpected color shifts and to ensure uniformity.

Is Direct Yellow 86 safe for industrial dyeing processes?

Yes, it is manufactured under strict industrial standards, ensuring safe handling. Adequate protective equipment should be used, and effluent treatment is recommended to meet environmental regulations.

What is the best method to ensure uniform dyeing with Direct Yellow 86?
