Key features

  • High tinting strength — produces vivid yellow shades at low dosage
  • Good wet-fastness — resistant to washing and perspiration on cellulosics
  • Reliable exhaustion in neutral-to-alkaline baths — predictable uptake
  • Fine particle size — disperses uniformly, minimizing specking
  • Compatible with standard leveling agents and optical brighteners
  • Suitable for exhaust dyeing, pad dyeing and paper coloration
  • Moderate lightfastness — suitable for interior textiles and paper goods
  • Available in powder or granulated forms for easy handling
  • pH stable in common dyeing ranges (pH 6–10) — minimal shade shift
  • Processing tip: improved leveling achieved with thin alkaline baths and controlled temperature ramp

Application:

Direct Yellow 11 Most suitable for dyeing of viscose like cotton, flax, viscose rayon, acetate and jute, also for Ink, Leather and Paper coloration.

Use condition:

1.Direct Yellow 11 for dyeing cotton or viscose fabric have to red light yellow. The poor levelness and dye migration and dyeing times add salt to control the dyeing time points, to get a uniform color. After dyeing the dye bath should be natural cooling to 60 ~ 80 ℃, to facilitate the dye absorption. After dyeing by fixing agent can improve the fastness to wet processing.

2.It can also be used for dyeing silk and wool. When dyeing blended fabrics, the color of silk and wool should be compared Cotton and viscose fibers are much lighter, acrylic slightly stained, nylon, vinegar fiber, polyester color.

3.It is generally not used for cotton and viscose fabrics printing, not to mention ground color discharge printing.

4.It is mostly used for the dyeing of viscose silk and silk interwoven material, and the dyeing with soap soda bath can make the silk stay white.

Precautions

Direct Yellow 11 has strong light brittleness.

FAQ

How does Direct Yellow 11 perform in terms of fastness?

Direct Yellow 11 has moderate washing fastness and fair light fastness. Its performance can be improved by using after-treatment agents such as cationic fixatives to enhance wash resistance and reduce bleeding.

Can Direct Yellow 11 be used in printing applications?

Yes, Direct Yellow 11 is suitable for both dye bath dyeing and printing processes. It offers uniform color distribution and can be applied in continuous or batch printing methods.

Is Direct Yellow 11 suitable for blending with other dyes?

Direct Yellow 11 is often blended with other direct dyes to achieve a wide range of shades, especially when creating orange or green hues on cotton fabrics.

Does Direct Yellow 11 require special handling?
