Direct orange 15

Powder properties

Orange to red light orange. Soluble in water for orange, soluble in soluble fiber element, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in other organic solvents. The strong sulfuric acid for red light blue, yellow solution for olive diluted, there are gray light yellow precipitate; In nitric acid solution for yellow to olive. The dye solution to join 10% sulfuric acid as yellow brown, add thick sodium hydroxide solution becomes more red. Used for the cellulose fibre, silk dyeing, cellulose, silk, wool fabric printing, also can be used for leather and paper shading, its heavy metal salt can be used as organic pigments.

Powder Shade:Bright red powder.

Liquid properties

Low-foam liquid formulation of Direct Orange 15 delivering vibrant orange shades, excellent leveling and precise dosing for textile dyeing and specialty printing.

Direct Orange 15 liquid is supplied as a stabilized aqueous concentrate with low foam characteristics for easy integration into exhaust and continuous dyeing workflows. It is engineered to minimize dosing variability and reduce post-dyeing rework.

Vivid Shades: Bright, consistent orange tones with strong chroma across production batches.

Low-Foam: Formulated to reduce foam during high-shear mixing and continuous processes.

Meterable: Liquid format enables automated dosing and lower dust risk than powder dyes.

Liquid Shade:bright red liquid‍

Application

Direct Orange 15 use for Ink,Textile printing,Paper,Paints,Plastic,Jute.

What makes our grade different?

Compared with standard competitors, our Direct Orange 15 liquid focuses on three production pain points: foam control, metering accuracy and batch-to-batch shade reproducibility. We provide digital shade cards, lab trials and assisted scale-up to reduce time-to-market.

Technical Notes & Process Tips

  1. Lab trial first: Start at 0.5% o.w.f and run small-lab samples for shade and fastness checks.
  2. Salt system: Typical direct dye exhaustion benefits from proper salting; consult our technicians for formulas that reduce streaking.
  3. Temperature profile: Avoid rapid heating — ramp steadily to recommended temperature (normally 80–95°C in exhaust processes).
  4. Aftercare: Rinse and neutralize as per TDS to maximize wet and rubbing fastness.

Note: The data contained here are based on our current knowledge and experience. It is the responsibility of user to test our products before the final application.

Is Direct Orange 15 liquid suitable for pigment-printing inks?

Direct Orange 15 is a direct dye (water-soluble) — for pigment-based ink systems, dye compatibility depends on binder type and solvent system. We recommend lab compatibility tests and binder trials before production printing.

How stable is the liquid during long-term storage?

When stored in original sealed containers at recommended temperatures (5–30°C) and protected from sunlight, the liquid maintains stability for typical commercial shelf-lives. Refer to TDS for exact shelf-life and agitation instructions before use.
