Coated Deep Chrome Yellow EP6400 is an inorganic lead chrome pigment with a deep yellow shade, bright gloss and high opacity. The surface treatment coating improves dispersibility, enhances weather stability and reduces the solubility and migration of lead ions, offering better durability and environmental safety compared with non-coated pigment.
With balanced pigment performance, EP6400 is suitable for high chroma applications requiring strong hiding power, long-term stability and reliable processing characteristics.
High opacity & bright deep yellow shade
reduces pigment dosage;
enhances visual effect of coatings & plastics
Surface-coated for improved durability
stronger weather resistance
lower lead ion solubility for safer use
Excellent heat stability up to 240°C
suitable for high-temperature extrusion
reduces risk of thermal discoloration
Grade-5 solvent resistance
prevents bleeding and film damage
Moderate oil absorption enhances formulation flow
good wetting & dispersion
Coated Deep Chrome Yellow mainly used for Industrial coatings,Coil coating,Building coating,Plastics and Rubbers,Printing inks, etc.
Important: Lead chromate contains lead and hexavalent chromium species in some technical grades—hazardous if inhaled or ingested. Follow your local regulations and the product SDS before use.

Note: The data contained here are based on our current knowledge and experience. It is the responsibility of user to test our products before the final application.
Many jurisdictions restrict or prohibit lead-containing pigments in consumer products. Always check current regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH Annex XVII, and local rules) for your application before purchasing.
Typical heat resistance is up to around 180 °C, depending on grade and resin system. Verify in your process before scale-up.
Minimize dust, use local exhaust ventilation and appropriate PPE, and store sealed in a cool, dry area. Consult the SDS for exposure limits and disposal guidance.
