A production-ready cationic dye engineered for consistent red shades across acrylic, wool and leather applications.
Cationic Red 29 (commonly called Basic Red 29) is a high-chroma cationic dye specially formulated to deliver bright, clean red shades on cationic fibers such as acrylic and wool. Designed for industrial dyehouses and converters, this product balances vivid color strength with excellent leveling and reduced migration — minimizing rework and shade variability in production runs.
We control production to tight specifications for reliable batch-to-batch shade reproducibility. Liquid and powder grades are available to suit different dosing and handling preferences.
It is Dark red powder. 25 ℃ in the solubility of water when for 120 g/L, soluble in water for red, dye acrylic in red. Tungsten light in a yellow. Compatibility value of 2, f value is 0.23.

Note: The data contained here are based on our current knowledge and experience. It is the responsibility of user to test our products before the final application.
No — as a cationic (basic) dye, it is intended for cationic fibers (acrylic, wool) and leather. Polyester requires disperse dyes.
Fixation depends on substrate — acrylics typically require salt/temperature control; wool may need acid fixation. We provide sample recipes for common processes.
