Cationic Blue 41 (Basic blue 41) Soluble in hot water and cold water for blue, soluble in ethanol also to blue. The strong sulfuric acid to red light brown, for yellow to green after diluted, and then into a blue. The dye solution to join sodium hydroxide deep red light brown precipitation.

Cationic Blue 41, commonly referred to as Basic Blue 41, is a bright, water-soluble cationic dye designed for strong bluish shades with excellent tinting strength. It is widely used in the dyeing of acrylic (PAN) fibers, specialty ink formulations, paper coloration and selective leather dyeing after compatibility testing. It works best on acrylic (PAN) fibers. For blends (e.g., acrylic/cotton or acrylic/polyester), run compatibility trials and consider mordants or binding auxiliaries if required.
