Basic green 1 powder Appearance is blue flashing golden sand powder, slightly soluble in cold water, can only be dissolved in the 98 ℃ hot water 8 g/L, but easy to dissolve in alcohol, all green. The dye was yellow color in sulfuric acid, dilute after to green; It is orange in concentrated nitric acid. Its aqueous solution plus sodium hydroxide has pale green precipitation, plus hydrochloric acid into red yellow. Dyed on silk or acrylic fiber are bright green, slightly yellow in tungsten filament light.
powder shade is brilliant green.
The appearance is mostly a thick liquid of dark green to copper color, with good water solubility (about 100g/L at 25℃), good compatibility with water and ethanol, and the solution is bright green; the pH value is usually 2.5–3.0 (10g/L aqueous solution, 25℃), stable in acidic systems, and prone to precipitation in the presence of strong alkali.
In liquid form, no dissolution and grinding is required, the dispersion is fast, and the color is uniform, suitable for continuous and automated production; for nylon high-temperature (120℃) dyeing, the color stability is stable, and it can be combined with cationic blue to produce fruit green; however, the sunfastness is relatively low (usually 1–2 grades), and attention should be paid to post-treatment or re-combination.
Liquid Shade is bright green.

Basic Green 1 powder is a concentrated solid form suitable for long-term storage and flexible formulation, while Basic Green 1 liquid is a pre-dissolved solution designed for faster handling and easier dosing. Both powder and liquid grades deliver the same color performance, allowing users to choose based on production efficiency and process preference.
Cationic Green 1 is commonly used in textile dyeing, leather finishing, ink formulation, and plastic coloration. It is especially suitable for acrylic fibers, modified polyester, paper coating, and water-based ink systems where cationic dyes are required.
Yes, Basic Green 1 liquid is well suited for automated dosing and continuous production lines. Its uniform concentration and easy dispersibility help reduce preparation time, minimize dust, and improve color consistency compared to powder handling.
